Note that changes that are listed below are changes made between Smart Office Scan release 2.0.101.1061 and 2.0.121.1208.

NEW FEATURES:

  • Added support for E-mail body as meta data in the the Email-in module.

  • Added support for browsing in and over (sub)sites and document libraries in Microsoft SharePoint 2003 and 2007.
  • Added support for Microsoft Word and Excel output in the Advanced image processing module.
  • Added support for using the domain name prefix at synchronization and authentication as an option.
  • Updated the Nuance CSDK engine to 16.3 in the Advanced image processing module.
  • Added support for HP Scanjet Enterprise 7000n Document Capture Workstation.
  • Changed trial period from 60 days to 45 days.

RESOLVED ISSUES:

  • Resolved an issue of long response time when using the Advanced Image Processing module for this first time when building a trigger.
  • Resolved an issue where adding additional messages, in the E-mail-in module, while an attachment was being processed resulted in an error.
  • Resolved an issue where Append After/Before, in the Xerox Docushare module, failed if the document name contained an accented character.
  • Resolved an issue when up and down keys of the hot button screen were greyed out in edit mode.
  • Resolved an issue when barcode meta data was not available in the store modules.
  • Resolved an issue with extra meta data in Afas Profit 2008.
  • Resolved an issue with special characters in zone OCR.
  • Resolved an issue when uninstalling on a server where more programs are using hasp dongle drivers.
  • Resolved an issue where the link in the registration window did not work.
  • Resolved an issue where an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error message appeared during multi-page scanning to the Worldox GX client folder.
  • Resolved some issues with the hot button functionality.
  • Resolved an issue when profile categories were not arranged exactly they did not populate correctly.
  • Resolved an issue with using the [QUSERNAME] field in the Open Text Livelink Store module.
  • Resolved an issue with selecting a full-page OCR zone in preview.
  • Resolved an issue where the server failed to respond when opening a trigger without questions.

KNOWN OPEN ISSUES:

  • Issue with the upgrade process on a Windows Server 2008 x64 operating system. This is solved in this new version but still happening on previous builds.
